Our team of Trainers have an in depth experience of both training, and showing breeds of dog from all seven groups; Toy, Utility, Working, Pastoral, Terrier, Hound and Gundog, and between them they boast in excess of 15 Champions and numerous Junior Warrants.
All our classes are run in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere, and cover both training for the show ring as well as the development of socialisation skills for your dog.
As part of each class, dependant upon the individuals level of competence, Handlers will be shown how to develop and hone the skills necessary to present and handle their dogs in order to show them to the best of their potential.
Socialisation classes are run alongside our Ringcraft classes, where your dog will learn how to meet and socialise with other dogs and humans. These classes will expose your dogs to a range of different situations, allowing them to better cope with what can be at times, stressful for them, which will help them to become confident and acceptable in society.
Our Members join the Club for different reasons, ranging from the 6 year old Junior Handler just starting out on their journey in the sport, to the experienced adult Handler, some of whom have been handling and showing many years. Other Members come simply to scoialise their dogs and meet new friends along the way.
So if the above sounds like just the sort of environment for you and your dog, why not take the next step and come along to our next training session and meet us. There's ample parking, and refreshements are available (tea, coffee and biscuits), and they're free of charge.
